Daniel Ayala scored a stoppage-time winner to send Middlesbrough top of the Championship at the expense of West Bromwich Albion at the Riverside Stadium on Friday night.
Middlesbrough qere on top from start to finish but had to wait until the 91st minute to score the only goal of the game.
Spanish centre-back Ayala was the hero for the hosts as he finished from close range.
Tony Pulis’ side had wasted number of chances throughout the game against the West Midlands club which included Martin Braithwaite firing high and wide from inside the six-yard box.
