The draw for the first round of the 2018-19 EFL Cup has been made today.
New Derby County manager Frank Lampard will take his side to Oldham Athletic after facing Reading and Leeds United in the Championship. The former England international won the trophy twice as a player.
Ties will be played on the week commencing Monday 13 August with all first round matches being settled on the night.
Other notable matchups include Aston Villa going to League Two side Yeovil Town and last season’s semi-finalists in a local derby with Plymouth Argyle.
